About Mei Bignall

Mei Bignall plays Thorunn in the Iceland settlement storyline of Vikings. Her other screen credits include Kate Vaughn in Little Women, Florence Ferizi in Hitmen, Arianne in Butterfly, Lost and Laura in Clear the Air. Those roles give viewers options beyond the close-knit group that follows Floki to Iceland.

Little Women is the clearest next stop for another period production, with Bignall playing Kate Vaughn. Hitmen offers a very different television setting. Thorunn is also a separate character from Bjorn’s partner Porunn, played by Gaia Weiss; keeping the characters and performers distinct makes both parts of the cast easier to explore.
