About Kelly Campbell
Kelly Campbell plays Ingvild in Vikings. Her other screen work includes Mrs Nubbles in The Old Curiosity Shop, Mrs Cross in Love & Friendship and Maeve in Brakes. These credits offer useful routes into literary adaptation and contemporary film beyond Ingvild’s place in the Iceland settlement storyline.
Love & Friendship is a good first choice for viewers who enjoy the social negotiations of a period ensemble, though its style is very different from Vikings. The Old Curiosity Shop is another literary adaptation, while Brakes provides a contemporary alternative. Start with Mrs Cross for a film-length change of pace after Ingvild’s Iceland storyline.
