About David Lindström

David Lindström plays the older Sigurd in Vikings. His other screen credits include Olle in The Yearning Room and Kenny Kylberg in Maria Wern. Those projects give a route into his work outside the large ensemble of Ragnar’s sons, whose place in the series is defined by comparisons and rivalries within the same family.

The Yearning Room is the clearest film to seek out when moving beyond Sigurd, with Lindström playing Olle. Maria Wern offers a separate television role as Kenny Kylberg. Start with the film for a self-contained story; choose the television appearance if you are exploring his work in a contemporary ensemble alongside the much larger family drama of Vikings.
